Jo Ellen Yeaple has been actively pursuing grants for her music classroom. Presently, she places projects online with DonorsChoose, an amazing on-line grant organization. My students are now enjoying new rhythm sticks, xylophones, and ukuleles. Music is an important core subject, and it brings out the creativity in each student. I teach music because I love making music with children. The children sing my original songs with joy and gusto. It is so worthwhile.
